I started coaching in 1998 when I was getting my Master’s Degree.
Get You In Shape was started in 2006. We have been able to help thousands of people look and feel 10 years younger. How? It comes down to a few simple things.

1. People need a plan.

2. People need a coach to help hold them accountable to following that plan.

We would love to help you look and feel 10 Years Younger!

A Fast, Easy Weeknight Dinner That Fuels Your Body Right (Plus Leftovers!)

If your weeknights are anything like mine, chances are you’re short on time, energy, and decision-making power when it comes to dinner.

That’s why I’m sharing one of my go-to recipes—a simple, delicious stir-fry that comes together in just 15 minutes and delivers all the right notes: flavor, fuel, and flexibility.

Best of all, it makes enough for leftovers—so you’re winning tomorrow too.

This one checks all the boxes:
✅ Protein-packed
✅ Full of colorful veggies
✅ Quick and easy to prep
✅ Totally customizable based on what’s in your fridge
✅ Family-approved

Whether you’re fueling up after a workout or just trying to get something nourishing on the table fast, this stir-fry delivers.

🍴 Easy Turkey + Veggie Stir-Fry

(Makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)

  • 1 lb (455 g) low-fat ground turkey

  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1–2 tsp grated fresh ginger (or ½ tsp dried)

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup (100 g) snap peas

  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce)

  • 1½ cups (300 g) cooked brown rice

  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, chopped green onions, sriracha, lime wedges

👨‍🍳 Directions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through.

  3. Add the garlic and ginger and stir for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Toss in the bell peppers and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, until just tender.

  5. Add the coconut aminos and stir to combine.

  6. Serve over warm brown rice and top with your favorite toppings.

Why This Meal Works

This meal isn’t just fast—it fits perfectly into a health-first lifestyle. It’s rich in lean protein to support your muscles, packed with fiber and antioxidants from the veggies, and keeps your blood sugar stable thanks to the complex carbs.

And the best part? It’s a blank canvas. You can swap in any ground meat, tofu, or leftover chicken. Throw in broccoli, carrots, mushrooms—whatever you’ve got. It’s forgiving, flexible, and family-friendly.

Make It a Weekend Prep Staple

Try this recipe over the weekend and double it for even more leftovers. That way, when Monday hits, dinner is already halfway done—and that’s one less thing to think about during your busy week.

Remember: fueling your body well doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple meals like this help you stay on track with your health goals—without stress or sacrifice.

If you try it, let me know! I love hearing how small shifts in your kitchen can lead to big changes in how you feel.
