What was your life like before Get You In Shape?

J: 2020 was my year to get in shape. I started off great going to the gym 4 days a week and lost a few pounds and then covid-19 hit. The scale started to move in the opposite direction.

C: I was not working out on a consistent basis. I was also not planning ahead for meals and workouts.

Why did you decide to join the Get You In Shape program?

J: I had done GYIS before and it worked for me – It was also an outdoor workout.

C: My friend Jenny Nesbit invited me to to try one of the Get You In Shape classes.  Going with a friend helps keep us accountable.  I loved the friendly coaches and clients. I also liked it was outdoors.  The program is always challenging you to push yourself so you get stronger and healthier!

What was your first impression of Get You In Shape?

J: I loved it!  Everyone is so welcoming and supportive.

C: The friendly and helpful coaches. They are extremely helpful and encouraging during your workouts.

What have been some of the tools you have used that have benefitted you?

J: I have benefited most from using the myfitness and coaches ap.

C: I love the My Coach app. It is so easy to use.  It helps keep you accountable for your workouts. It is also a great way to receive information from Brad about other events during the month. Healthy recipes are also posted in the My Coach app. It is also great for tracking weight loss so you can see your progress. It is the best tool for staying involved with the GYIS program.

How is Get You In Shape different from other programs you have tried before?

J: The accountability is probably the biggest difference.  It is not always easy waking up for a 5:30 am class, but knowing coach Cindy and my fellow warriors are there to hold me accountable helps get me going.  I also love that the workouts are outdoors. It’s very motivating watching the sun come up MWF while working out. I also like that I have the option to go to the 5:30 pm class if needed (bonus… I get to workout with my friend Caroline).


C: The GYIS program is the best all around workout. It is a wonderful total body workout.  The coaches are great about changing up every workout to benefit your total body! The coaches are committed to giving you the best workout possible!

What results and benefits have you experienced with Get You In Shape?

J: I have not only lost weight, I am stronger and have more energy.

C: I joined GYIS program in January of 2021. After the first month I was down 6 pounds. I lost another 5 pounds after being in the GYIS program for 6 months. After another 6 months I lost 4 more pounds and in another 3 months I lost 7 more pounds. As of April 2022, I have lost 25 pounds total.  I have so much more energy after joining the GYIS program!

What would you say to anyone looking at this program?

J: Join!  GYIS works and it’s lots of fun!

C: This program is the most diversified workout program I have ever done. The coaches and clients are the friendliest I have ever seen.  I have seen more results with the GYIS shape program than any other program I have done! It has been a wonderful experience!
