A Guilt-Free, High-Protein Dessert for the Holiday Weekend 🇺🇸

The 4th of July weekend is here—and while it’s a time for celebration, family, and fireworks, it’s also a time when healthy habits can get left behind.

Here’s the good news: you can enjoy something festive and feel great about what you’re eating!

Try this quick and easy Red, White & Blue Protein Parfait—a crowd-pleasing dessert (or snack) that’s packed with protein, naturally sweet, and full of patriotic flair.

🍓 Red, White & Blue Protein Parfaits
Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups non-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional but great for extra protein!)

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • ½ cup raspberries

  • ¼ cup granola (look for low-sugar or grain-free)

  • Optional: drizzle of honey + fresh mint for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Mix yogurt and protein powder together until smooth.

  2. Layer in small mason jars or cups:

    • Yogurt → Strawberries → Yogurt → Blueberries/Raspberries → Repeat

  3. Top with granola and a mint leaf for that finishing touch.

  4. Chill and enjoy!
