Fit Over 50 Program – The Basics!

The Get You In Shape Orientation is a requirement for any new client that is looking to join our program. We go over your goals, our 5 step system to help you achieve those goals, go over the tools and also go over all the general information that you need to know before starting.
This will help you get motivated, help ease your mind about starting something new and give you some encouragement before starting on this journey.
Payment and membership options– You will have a few options for getting started. with Get You In Shape. We have four different options to choose from ranging from $46/month to $57.
They all come with 3 week no risk guarantee that we will go over at the Intro Session/Orientation.
This is for our proven Get You In Shape Coaching program that’s been around since 2006 and produced thousands of results. It comes with mindset training, a new healthy habit to create each week, a simple nutrition system and a fitness program for all fitness levels.
During our Orientation, we’ll ask you some more questions, we’ll review your goals in more detail and go over our 5 step system that will help you reach your health and fitness goals. Then, if we have a good fit, we’ll present our different program options to you.
Providing you like what we have to offer, we’ll ask you to make a decision about committing to your goals and one of our program options. You can answer yes or no, and either answer is ok. That being said, it may be good to be prepared with your checking account details (no extra fees) or credit card (a 3% surcharge) handy so that we can get you started.

It will be at Andy Brown Park East in Coppell

Once you park. The early morning sessions are normally in the parking lot. The other sessions are either to the left of the flag polls by the swimming pool or underneath the huge grand pavilion.
General Information that will help you be prepared before starting.
What equipment do you need to workout?
A thick fitness mat (recommend a 1/2 inch mat), 5 pound weights (or heavier ones if you want), WATER, deodorant, sunscreen (if working out in sun), insect repellent (depending on the time you workout and time of year) and a small towel.
The fitness mat and weights can be purchased in the fitness sections of Wal-Mart, Target, Academy, Dicks, TJ Max and other stores like this along with on amazon.
When can I start?
It will start after Orientation based on when you want to get started.
What is the Get You In Shape Program? This is a proven coaching and accountability program that incorporates everything you will need to start, stick and stay on your journey to long-term lifestyle change.
We focus on mindset, accountability, nutrition and getting you moving more. We will give you a proven plan and help you stay accountable to following the proven plan.

What about Fitness Levels?
Both our virtual fitness sessions and in-person are designed to go at your own pace and your own fitness level. The majority of our clients are 45-65 year old so everyone just goes at their own level.
Will I Get Coaching ?
Yes. This is the main thing we do. You will have an accountability coach and we will be sending you a Habit Question each and every day for you to answer. This is something that will help you “stay in the game” by having you answer a habit question daily and having the ability to communicate daily with an accountability coach.
Is there a nutrition plan? Yes.. We have 2 simple nutrition systems you will get access to that are both proven to work. We will go over the options at the Orientation and then we will be working together to help you as you get started. Nutrition and what we put in our mouths are a huge part in how we look and feel so this is one important key in helping to make the changes necessary for your long-term results.
General Information About the In-Person Workouts
Where are the fitness sessions held?
You will have two options. Virtual sessions and In-Person Sessions.
We have 6 Virtual Sessions a week that get sent to you at 5am every morning six day as week.
All In-Person sessions are held at Andy Brown Park East (260 East Parkway Boulevard, Coppell). All sessions are usually held either at the Grand Pavilion. 5:30am sessions are in the parking lot. If we are not under the pavilion, we will most likely be by the swimming pool or down by the lake pavilion.
Get You In Shape Fitness Times. Virtual Sessions are when you decide.
In-Person Sessions – M-W-F – 5:30am, 6:30am, 8:00am, 12pm and 5:30pm
What about rain? If you choose the in-person workouts, you will do the virtual workout for that day if it is raining or underneath the big pavilion. We will go over this at the Orientation.
What are your Safety Guidelines for in-person sessions? – We are following the guidelines of local, state and CDC. We make sure every client has plenty of distance from each other and that our clients feel very safe working out outside with plenty of spacing.
What should I wear? Cross training shoes or running shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are necessities. Women should wear a sports bra. Because we are in close proximity with each other, please be mindful of others and use deodorant.
What about changing or bathrooms? There are outside restrooms at Andy Brown East.
