Pradipta Dasgupta lives in Irving, TX and heads a couple of businesses for a financial services company.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Get You In Shape program?
I loved what I saw in the initial promotion and then I really loved the 1-month program, post which there were no second thoughts on whether I would want to continue or not. I almost instantly realized that this is going to be perfect for me.

Q: What was your life like before joining the Get You In Shape Program?
I was into professional sports in school and college years. But once I joined corporate world I lost my health and fitness. Life was full of junk food, no proper eating schedule and full of stress. I was getting disappointed with myself as I was always in great shape in my college years.

Q: What was your first impression from the Get You In Shape program?
First week was great, the trainers and all participants were very friendly.
Once I completed a month it was a very easy decision to continue as I started seeing major changes in my day to day life. I was feeling better, stronger and was actually able to be more productive at work.

PradiptaBefore&AfterQ: What have been some of the tools you have used that have benefited you?
Apart from obviously the boot camps the other tools that immensely helped me are:
a. MyFitnessPal – Tracking is very important
b. I also did the 24-day challenge which also helped a lot
c. I also used a lot of diet tips available on the website

Q: How is the Get You In Shape program different from other programs you have tried before?
I have not tried group fitness earlier. But I did try personal trainer earlier.
When I joined GYIS I thought that I might not get enough attention from the trainers, but I was completely wrong. I really have to say that each of the trainers have been great, all of them really notice and spend time on individual needs. I feel GYIS is like a “Double the benefit in cheaper price”. What I mean by that is when you work in a group with like-minded people you push yourself harder and at the same time you still continue to get almost individual attention from the trainers. So Double Benefit and a cheaper option compared to personal training. I love the concept.

Q: What results and benefits have you experienced in the Get You In Shape Program?
Here are the benefits that I have seen from this program:
a. I lost almost 10 lbs. in 3 months. But that is the net loss, I can feel the muscle weight that I gained
b. I feel energized all day, have seen better productivity at work, feel more confident
c. A complete change in my life as I have converted from a late night person (family) to a early to bed and early to rise (very useful and important, helps me get more out of my work day)
d. Fitness has become a way of life and that is how I want it to be always

Q: What would you say to anyone looking at this program?
I will absolutely endorse GYIS. If you are looking for a short term or a long term fitness program, you need to work with these guys. GYIS knows what they are doing and they do it in the most client centric way. I also feel it is absolutely necessary to mention that the environment that you get and the people you meet in GYIS team and in the groups are additional benefits which are very significant.
I know each individual is different, but I feel you will have almost 99.9% chances of your requirements being met here. So give it a try!
